The customer brought this fairly large tapestry (24”x42”) back from Costa Rica. The embroidery was done on a loosely woven cloth. This piece was mounted by hand stitching it to an archival mounting board. Stitching was done around the perimeter as well in strategic places throughout (no more than 3” apart) to prevent the tapestry from sagging over time.
