Karen Haverstock established Haverstock Creative Designs in January, 1998 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Initially, besides picture framing, Karen designed dried flower wreaths and arrangements and did decorative painting.  However, it wasn't long before she focused on her love of custom picture framing. After moving to Calgary, Alberta in 1999 and running a successful custom picture framing business out west, Karen moved back home to Nova Scotia in 2004 and re-established her business in Bedford.


Haverstock Creative Designs - Custom Picture Framing is located in Bedford, Nova Scotia and serves the Halifax Regional Municipality, including the communities of Halifax, Dartmouth, and Lower Sackville. Although most of Karen's customers are from the local area, she has created frames for out-of-town customers and has shipped frames across Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and other parts of Nova Scotia)
