Final Fantasy Silk Poster
My customer is an avid video game player and purchased two silk video game posters depicting characters from Final Fantasy and Jak games. Although the tones of the posters differed (one had muted neutral colours; the other had rich vibrant colours), she wanted them framed similarly.
The same moulding, a faux black leather profile from Framerica, was chosen for both frames. A double mat combination, using the same colour for both the top and bottom mats, was chosen. To add more interest and depth to a simple design, a layer of foamcore was installed between the two mat layers. Although the mat colours differ between frames, the frames look like a matched set. Tru Vue’s conservation clear glass was chosen for its 99% UV protection.
