Firefighter Shadow Box - Naval Fire Service
This is an example of a generational shadowbox with the grandfather's photo and military medals displayed in the left hand opening and the father's photo and military firefighter memorabilia displayed in the right hand opening. The father's cap badge, DND firefighter's patch, as well as 'years of service' badges are amongst the many items showcased.
The grandfather's photo was restored and the colour was changed from a sepia tone to black and white in order to better compliment the overall colour scheme.
